A shuttle bus bringing Long Island workers into the Big Apple took remarkably longer than the typical train ride as the LIRR strike reached its third day.
A bus trip from the Ronkonkoma station to the 179th Street subway station in Queens took an hour and 45 minutes Monday morning.
A typical train ride from the same Suffolk County station takes about 80 minutes to reach Grand Central.
