In this sermon, the eighth in a series based on the Old Testament book of Daniel, Dr. Michael Youssef teaches from Daniel chapter 9. He begins by sharing five lessons gleaned from Daniel’s prayer. 1) Study the Word of God and apply it to your life; 2) Give God room to act according to Him timetable; 3) Pray with praise and confession; 4) Pray with a humble and contrite heart; and 5) Pour out your emotions in your private prayer with the Lord. He continues by explaining the prophetic significance of Gabriel’s arrival at the time of the evening sacrifice, the prophecy of the coming Messiah, the 70 sets of 7, the messianic timetable, which he illustrates through the New Testament evidence.
