In the development of the Paleo Outreach Program, prehistoric-bone hunter Jason Howery was shocked to find a massive sized femur weighing 92 pounds in a river near Ravenwood, Missouri. The bone, belonging to a mammoth or mastodon, was the best preserved specimen he had seen.
