A US immigration terminated the Trump administration’s attempt to deport Rümeysa Öztürk, a Tufts University student involved in pro-Palestinian advocacy. Secretary of State Marco Rubio defended the administration’s decision, telling reporters, "If you enter our country as a visitor and as a visitor in our country, be it a student, a tourist, a journalist, whatever you want to be, and you undertake activities that are against a national interest, a national security, the United States, we will take away your visa."
