Hopes are high in Bangladesh as more than 120 million people vote in the first general election since student-led protests toppled the government in 2024. The two main contenders for the parliament are the Bangladesh Nationalist Party and Jamaat-e-Islami. Mohammad Kamruzzaman reports from Dhaka.
