Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump’s envoy Steve Witkoff have held talks in St Petersburg aimed at moving the peace process along.
Ahead of the meeting, the US president posted on Truth Social that "Russia has to get moving".
But the Kremlin has played down any chances of a breakthrough and has not offered any concessions or compromises aimed at achieving a comprehensive ceasefire.
