Kamala Harris thinks she and the Democrats can erase her entire past. Everyone is noticing and this is now a contest to save America from dictatorship
As President Biden’s decision not to seek re-election took air and finally confirmed, Vice President Kamala Harris has launched her own presidential campaign. However, she’s now keeping herself away from several progressive positions she previously championed. During her earlier presidential run and especially in the aftermath of George Floyd’s death, Harris embraced a more liberal stance, aligning with the Democratic Party’s progressive wing.
I wouldn’t call it “walking back,” it is “running away from” because she knows she is far left of mainstream.

In recent Republican campaign ads, Harris is seen opposing fracking, suggesting the possibility of abolishing ICE, criticizing the hiring of additional police officers, and considering allowing felons to vote. The advertisements also show her supporting a mandatory gun buyback program and eliminating private health insurance. However, Harris’ campaign has recently clarified that she no longer seeks to ban fracking, a significant issue in key states like Pennsylvania.
Such a shift contrasts sharply with her earlier statements delivered during her 2020 presidential bid, where she opposed fracking very openly. Former President Donald Trump has highlighted these inconsistencies, pointing out her past opposition to fracking as a potential liability in Pennsylvania, a crucial battleground state.

In response, Harris’ campaign has been working to reframe her image, emphasizing her law enforcement background as a former prosecutor and state attorney general in California. They argue that her past progressive statements are being exaggerated by Republicans and stress her support for Biden’s budget proposals for increased border enforcement. Harris now supports a ban on assault weapons but opposes a mandatory buyback program for private gun owners.
Harris’ stance on health insurance has also evolved. She no longer promotes “Medicare-for-all,” aligning instead with Biden’s more moderate health care reforms. Her position on the Supreme Court has also shifted; while previously open to discussing court expansion, she now supports Biden’s proposals for term limits and ethics guidelines for justices, without adding more seats to the court.

The Harris campaign’s adjustments highlight her efforts to appeal to a broader electorate, contrasting with her earlier, more progressive image and it is something like she is aware of a campaign being different. As the campaign progresses, these past statements will likely continue to be scrutinized and debated. The American people are now engaged, and nothing is getting past them. They resent how the Democrats and their Soviet allies in media are censoring the news, using search engines to stifle knowledge and help Marxism. No one is fooled at this point, and the more they play propaganda games, the more people leave the Democrat Party as well as media.
