Scott Presler is crying. Not the sad, performative tears the left trots out every time a Republican wins a school board race. These are the real deal — tears of pure political joy, mixed with screaming and a heart “singing a tune loudly for all to hear.”
Why? Because Pennsylvania’s Department of State just ran one of its biggest voter roll purges in recent memory. Tens of thousands of names got the boot. The overwhelming majority? Democrats. Inactive voters. People who moved. The deceased. The usual suspects that somehow always seem to lean blue until sunlight hits the rolls.
Presler put it bluntly: “I’M IN TEARS I’M SCREAMING… Democrats lost TENS of thousands of voters. It’s happening — it’s actually happening. Our work to clean the voter rolls is actually working. Sunlight is the best disinfectant.”
And then the number that should make every MAGA heart skip a beat: Pennsylvania is now just 25,811 active voters away from flipping from blue to red. That’s the lowest Democratic registration advantage in modern history. Last week the gap was more than twice as large. One purge later, and the Keystone State is hanging by a thread.
This is not abstract “election integrity” talk. This is the hard, unglamorous work of forcing government to do the job it should have been doing all along — removing people who no longer live in the state, who are no longer alive, or who simply haven’t bothered to vote in years. The same rolls Democrats and their media allies spent years insisting were perfectly clean, that “voter fraud is a myth,” and that anyone who wanted them cleaned was engaged in “voter suppression.”
Funny how the myth always needed so many inactive Democrats to stay propped up. Even funnier, or sad depending on your outlook, how the dead always vote Democrat. As does the illegals, and the boxcars full of votes delivered to always win, at will.
Presler and the grassroots warriors at Early Vote Action have been hammering this for years — registering new Republican voters, challenging dirty rolls, shining light on non-citizen registrations via jury lists, and refusing to accept the left’s sacred cow that dirty rolls are somehow a feature of “democracy.” The establishment treated him like a conspiracy theorist. Now the Department of State just delivered results that make the conspiracy look more like common sense.
Democrats will howl. They always do. Expect the usual chorus: this is “purging eligible voters,” “disenfranchisement,” “Jim Crow 2.0.” Never mind that the people removed were inactive, moved away, or dead. Never mind that actual living, breathing citizens still on the rolls are the ones whose votes get diluted when ghost names and outdated registrations remain. The left’s real fear isn’t that legitimate voters will be blocked. It’s that the cushion of phantom names they’ve relied on for years is finally shrinking.
Pennsylvania has long been the ultimate swing-state prize. Trump won it in 2016 and 2024. The left poured everything into holding the registration edge. Now that edge is thinner than it’s been in a generation, and it’s because someone actually did the work of cleaning house instead of pretending the house was already spotless.
Presler isn’t stopping. He’s already pointing to New Jersey and Virginia and daring other states to follow Pennsylvania’s example. The same people who spent years gaslighting the country about “the most secure elections in history” suddenly get very quiet when the rolls actually get scrubbed and the Democratic advantage evaporates.
This is what it looks like when the sunlight finally reaches the books. Tens of thousands of Democrat registrations gone. The gap to a red Pennsylvania at a historic low. And one of the most relentless election integrity fighters in the country reduced to tears of joy.
