Heavy rains have flooded dozens of tents sheltering displaced Palestinians in the southern Gaza Strip, witnesses reported on Tuesday.
In the al-Mawasi area of Khan Younis, several tents collapsed under the rainfall, while others were torn apart by strong winds. Local authorities noted that the Israeli army has damaged 220,000 linear meters of road networks over the past two years.
Nearly 900,000 residents in Khan Younis are now enduring bleak and devastating conditions as severe weather sweeps the area.
