On March 25, under orders from SOUTHCOM Commander Gen. Francis L. Donovan, Joint Task Force Southern Spear carried out a targeted strike on a vessel linked to designated terrorist organizations in the Caribbean. Intelligence indicated the vessel was actively involved in narcotics trafficking along known smuggling routes. Four suspected narco-terrorists were killed in the operation, and no US personnel were injured.
