Top brass from the US rubbed shoulders with Belarusian generals at Russia’s massive Zapad-2025 war games on Monday, even as Moscow warned NATO nations that aiding Ukraine made them “at war” with Russia. Footage from the drills showed American officers shaking hands with Belarus’s defense chief, who told aides to give the visitors the “best seats” and full access to the action, according to a translation from the Kyiv Independent. The eyebrow-raising visit comes as Poland admitted it blasted Russian drones out of its skies — the first time a NATO country has shot down Moscow’s hardware over its own turf.
