For the first time in more than three years, Ukraine and Russia are heading for direct peace talks. Low-level meetings are set to take place in Istanbul. Russian president Vladimir Putin proposed the talks, then decided to stay in Moscow. Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy traveled to Turkey but decided to head back home after learning the Russian delegation was low-ranking. DW talks to Yevheniia Kravchuk, a member of the Ukrainian parliament for President Zelenskyy’s Servant of the People Party.
