President Trump told reporters that he thinks Ukraine may not need Tomahawk missiles ahead of his meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky — apparently dashing Kyiv’s quest for the powerful weapons.
“Hopefully we’ll be able to get the war over with without thinking about Tomahawks,” Trump said. Zelensky was expected to request Tomahawks from Trump, who later indicated he may reconsider at a future point.
