Donald Trump said his Middle East tour was "really going well" as he landed in Qatar, and spoke about his meeting with the Syrian president.
Asked by reporters on Air Force One how he found Ahmed al Sharaa, the US president said he was "great".
"He’s a young, attractive guy. He’s got a real shot at pulling it together," he said.
Trump also said Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani was a "great guy".
