President Trump said it has been difficult to identify the shooter at Brown University because the incident was primarily handled by the University’s own security and police, not the FBI. He explained that the FBI became involved only after the fact and emphasized that questions about delays should be directed to the school. Trump added that the FBI has a strong track record of identifying suspects quickly once it is involved and said he expects them to do their job.
