President Donald Trump said he wanted an "honorable and honest investigation" into Alex Pretti’s death.
“We’re doing a big investigation. I want to see the investigation. I’m going to be watching over it. I want a very honorable and honest investigation — I have to see it myself,” he said Tuesday as he departed the White House for an event in Iowa.
Three different agencies are investigating the shooting of Pretti, who died Saturday during an altercation with federal immigration agents in Minneapolis. The Department of Homeland Security, the FBI, and U.S. Customs and Border Protection are all examining what happened.
