Titus 2 is all about discipleship—learning to live the way God wants us to live, taught by men and women who seek out and mentor other believers by godly example and personal nurture times.
We continue our look at the third element of a grace-energized disciple of Christ; as described in Titus 2, they are a sober, reverent, and temperate man who, as a disciple who follows Jesus, is learning to live by Christ’s wisdom.
Titus 2:1-2
1 But as for you, speak the things which are proper for sound doctrine:
2 that the older men be sober, reverent, temperate, sound in faith, in love, in patience; NKJV
