Emmy Award–winning actor Timothy Busfield appeared in a New Mexico court Wednesday for an initial hearing on child sex abuse charges. He turned himself in Tuesday after Albuquerque police issued an arrest warrant alleging he inappropriately touched a minor on the set of The Cleaning Lady. Busfield denies the allegations. Prosecutors have asked that he remain in custody pending trial, citing a delayed surrender and a history of alleged misconduct.
