In this message, Dr. Youssef first teaches from John 11:1-44, which tells of the death of Lazarus, explaining how one can experience the cure for the crushing loneliness of sorrow, including we know that God loves us; we know that God is with us; we know that He shares our sorrow; we know that He can transform our sorrows, we know that His will is the best. Then he turns his sights to Luke 15:11-31, the parable of the prodigal son, which illustrates, in the reaction of the older brother to the celebration of his brother’s return, the loneliness of stubbornness.
