A federal agent shot and killed a man who was allegedly brandishing a gun while officers in Minneapolis were attempting to arrest an illegal criminal migrant Saturday morning, the Department of Homeland Security said.
The shooting, which occurred at 9:05 a.m. local time, came during a “targeted operation” against an illegal immigrant wanted for violent assault when “an individual approached US Border Patrol officers with a 9 mm semi-automatic handgun,” a DHS statement said.
