On march 6th, a Southwest Fort Lauderdale bound flight was diverted to Atlanta, Georgia as authorities investigated a potential threat. Reports mention air traffic control audio saying passengers and flight attendants flagging a suspicious passengers. An investigation conducted by Atlanta police and the FBI investigated found “no credible threat,” and no charges were filed. Footage shows police vehicles surrounding the plane and passengers holding their hands above the seats before everyone was instructed to deplane.
