Russia launched a drone strike on a daycare in Kharkiv, Ukraine on Wednesday, injuring terrified toddlers, killing one adult and setting the facility aflame. The frightened children were shepherded into the basement shelter by staff, huddling together in trembling silence until rescue workers arrived, according to Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov.
In gut-wrenching photos from the scene, toddlers cried as they clung to the shoulders of firemen rescuing them from the flames.
