It’s been an emotional couple of weeks for #RaptureTok. Across social media, evangelical Christians have been posting hundreds of videos ahead of September 23rd and 24th – when it was predicted that good Christ-loving folks would ascend to heaven with Jesus.
South African pastor Joshua Mhlakela claimed that he had a vision that the rapture would occur on these exact dates – sending social media into a frenzy.
It was especially hard for true believers when they found out it didn’t happen and they still had to go to work.
