Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem held a press conference in San Diego, California near the US-Mexican border on Thursday, February 12. Hundreds of protesters gathered behind a large fence, and after spotting an officer escorting a police K-9 near Noem’s stage, they began shouting, “Don’t let her kill your dog!” As well as “She’ll rip his f**king throat out.” Noem faced massive scrutiny in 2024 when she revealed in her book that she shot and killed her 14-month-old wire-haired pointer because he was “untrainable.”
