Protests turned chaotic in Chicago and Los Angeles this weekend as demonstrators clashed with police following dispersal orders. Outside the Broadview ICE facility in Illinois, officers declared the gathering an unlawful assembly, advancing on protesters with batons and making four arrests. In Los Angeles, the LAPD said agitators from the “No Kings” protest used lasers and flashing lights against officers and a police helicopter before mounted units dispersed the crowd.
