Tensions boiled over in Chinatown as furious New Yorkers clashed with ICE and Homeland Security agents during a street vendor crackdown Tuesday night. Video shows protesters chanting “shame” and confronting officers as agents shoved back and cleared the way for federal vehicles. Mayor Eric Adams later stressed that the NYPD had no part in the operation, saying the city doesn’t cooperate with federal deportations.
