The 2026 National Board of Review honored standout films including ‘One Battle After Another’ and ‘Sinners,’ just days after the Golden Globes. Michael B. Jordan presented Ryan Coogler with Best Original Screenplay for the vampire-themed epic. The filmmaker got emotional and cried during his speech, sharing with ET guest correspondent Jenny Taft that his date for the evening was the college professor who first encouraged him to pursue screenwriting. Other honorees included Leonardo DiCaprio, his ‘One Battle After Another’ director Paul Thomas Anderson and ‘If I Had Legs I’d Kick You’ star Rose Byrne.
