The Briefing’s Jen Psaki shares reporting from The Washington Post about DOGE’s flimsy attempt to revamp the Social Security Administration with an AI chatbot phone line.
When a Post reporter called the hotline and asked to speak with an agent, the chatbot suggested ending the call several times, then repeatedly recited information about cost-of-living adjustment and SSI beneficiaries.
"That’s enough to make you crazy," Psaki commented.
