Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem underscored that there are currently terrorists at large within the US and warned that the ongoing lapse in funding to her department undermines efforts to capture them. "We have known and suspected terrorists in this country, that we don’t know where they are," Noem said. "We have always faced threats here on our homeland, and that is our department’s duty.
