Viral CCTV footage captured the moment a young woman in Costa Rica took down a would-be robber – apparently by summoning her internal jiu-jitsu instincts.
25-year-old Sol Vargas Garita was grabbing breakfast at her regular 24-hour eatery after finishing up a late shift at work in the wee hours of the morning on September 3rd in San Isidro de El General.
Suddenly, a man rushed in behind her and grabbed her handbag, which had about $200 in it, according to NeedToKnow. That was when the young woman’s fight-or-flight instincts kicked in, and she chose to fight.
