Federal agents intensified immigration crackdowns across Chicago throughout October, with multiple videos showing agents operating in neighborhoods citywide.
The incidents come as a judge heard testimony describing overcrowded, unsanitary conditions — including overflowing toilets, no beds, and water that “tasted like sewer” — at a Chicago-area detention facility used during the Trump administration’s immigration raids.
