Ukraine’s president Volodymy Zelenskyy claims two Chinese men fighting for Russia have been captured in the eastern Donetsk region. Zelenskyy posted a video of one of the captured Chinese men on X and wrote that Kyiv has – quote – "information suggesting there are many more Chinese citizens in the occupier’s units." He’s demanded a response from Beijing. China is a close Russian ally, but officially maintains a neutral position on the war.
