At this point we all know there will be no peace, at least until President Trump takes office. We have made Iran rich with our ridiculous policies and direct payments. We’ve also directly given the terrorists of Hamas and the PA hundreds of millions of dollars each. Why are we so stupid when Democrats are in office. We invited this war and all others.
During a recent meeting with U.S. Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Charles Q. Brown, Israel’s Defense Minister Yoav Gallant expressed concerns about escalating aggression from Iran, emphasizing the urgency as the U.S. seeks to broker a ceasefire in the ongoing conflict with Hamas, which has lasted nearly 11 months.
Defense Minister Yoav Gallant in a meeting earlier today with the chief of the American military says that Iran’s aggression “has reached an all-time high,” and that Israel and the US need to advance “joint capabilities” for all of the theaters of the war.

In the discussions, which also involved Israel Defense Forces Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Herzi Halevi, Gallant stressed the need for innovative strategies and enhanced capabilities to address the challenges posed by Hamas in the south and Hezbollah in the north, both of which receive significant support from Iran. Despite efforts involving Egypt and Qatar, a ceasefire has been elusive, with Hamas refusing to agree to terms that allow Israeli forces to maintain positions in security corridors within Gaza.
Gallant outlined Israel’s key objectives in Gaza: to dismantle Hamas, secure the release of hostages taken following the October 7 attacks, and alter the security dynamics along Israel’s northern border to ensure the safety of regional communities.

The ongoing conflict has had a severe human toll. The Hamas-run Health Ministry reports approximately 40,000 fatalities in Gaza, though this figure does not distinguish between civilians and combatants. On the Israeli side, nearly 700 soldiers and about 1,200 civilians have lost their lives since the conflict escalated.
Further complicating the regional stability is the tension in the north, where Israel and Hezbollah frequently engage in exchanges of missile and drone fire. A recent increase in hostilities saw Hezbollah launching rockets and drones at northern Israeli positions, which Israel responded to with airstrikes targeting Hezbollah strongholds in southern Lebanon. These skirmishes resulted in limited casualties but heightened fears of a broader conflict involving Israel, Hezbollah, and Iran.
