Germany ends eight-year military operation in Niger

German troops have pulled out of Niger, ending an eight-year operation in the West African nation.
And as Grace Kuria Kanja now tells us, efforts to extend an agreement to allow operations to continue have failed, just like they did for the US and French troops.
