A football tournament in Gaza kicked off in a serious attempt to breathe life back into the sporting scene in the enclave devastated by two years of war.
The tournament will feature 24 local clubs, and the matches will be played in the few remaining football pitches not entirely destroyed by Israel’s genocidal war.
