Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi has decided not to travel to Washington for White House talks if U.S. President Donald Trump’s plan to displace Palestinians from Gaza is part of the agenda, according to two Egyptian security sources. Trump’s proposal to permanently relocate more than 2 million Palestinians from the Gaza Strip has sparked outrage in the Arab world, as he has demanded that Egypt and Jordan accept the displaced population, threatening to withdraw aid from both U.S.-allied countries if they refuse.
