A protest outside the Bishop Henry Whipple Federal Building in Minneapolis was declared an unlawful assembly after some demonstrators began throwing objects, including ice chunks, at law enforcement. Authorities said a sheriff’s deputy was hit in the head and a squad car windshield was broken, prompting dispersal orders and arrests. Several dozen people were taken into custody as officers and state patrol troopers broke up the demonstration.
