Iran’s foreign minister travelled to Geneva to hold talks with the chief diplomats of France, Germany, the UK and the EU. This was the first face-to-face meeting between Western and Iranian officials since the conflict began. The French president announced that European countries had prepared a ‘comprehensive negotiation offer’ for a new nuclear deal with Iran.
Following the meeting, officials concluded that Iran was willing to resolve the conflict with Israel through diplomacy. They also agreed to continue the dialogue.
