Two deputies from Cortland Police Department responded to reports of a vehicle fire, discovering a car that had crashed through a fence, flipped onto its side, and burst into flames. Body camera footage shows one officer breaking through the vehicle’s sunroof and pulling the driver to safety, while the second deputy worked to extinguish the fire using a fire extinguisher. Police said the driver suffered serious injuries. One officer was treated for minor injuries.
