‘My 600-Lb. Life’ star Charity Pierce has died at the age of 50. Her daughter Charly Jo Pierce confirmed her passing in a Jan. 27 Facebook post, writing, "I wasn’t going to post about this. but the calling and the texting is making my head feel like it’s on fire. Almost all immediate family knows so, my mom passed away today. She’s up with her momma and brother and sister and she’s finally at peace. Charity fly high momma. I hope you know how much I love you and how grateful I was to be able to be by your side while you took your last breath.” No official cause of death for Charity has been made public. Charity appeared on ‘My 600-Lb. Life’ in 2015, when she weighed close to 800 pounds before seeking out the help of bariatric surgeon Dr. Younan Nowzaradan. The episode documented her journey battling morbid obesity as well as a life-threatening flesh eating bacteria. Charity ultimately underwent weight loss surgery which resulted in her shedding nearly 300 pounds.
