Hundreds of Catholics in Lagos, Nigeria celebrated Good Friday by giving a realistic reenactment of the Stations of the Cross. Performers dressed in Biblical costumes and carried wooden crosses throughout major streets. Many in the country have drawn a parallel between the hardships and suffering of Jesus Christ to those who are suffering economic hardship in Nigeria.
