Viral Surveillance footage from downtown Sao Paolo shows two armed thieves casually walking away with stolen artwork after breaking into the Mario de Andrade Library. Their haul included at least eight prints by French artist Henri Matisse and five by Brazilian painter Candido Portinari.
Police say the pair subdued a security guard and an elderly couple who were visiting the library, then removed the artwork from a glass dome to a canvas bag, and walked out through the main entrance.
