A California teacher named Kauser was sanctioned for screening a TRT World video to her students that featured a Holocaust survivor protesting in support of Gaza. The screening was part of a lesson on the Holocaust, during which more than six million Jewish people were murdered in World War II. TRT World interviewed 90-year-old Marione Ingram outside the White House in 2024. The video later went viral and was used by Kauser during a Holocaust lesson.
