Emergency crews responded to a rubber factory in Mishima, Japan, after reports of a stabbing attack that left multiple people injured. Local news agencies said at least 15 people were hurt when a man attacked workers with a knife and sprayed an unspecified liquid at the Yokohama Rubber Company facility. A Florida man shot and killed his wife and shot his stepdaughter earlier this week before fatally shooting himself after an argument over an NFL game, authorities said Jason Kenney, 47, took his own life hours after killing his wife, Crystal Kenney, Dec. 22, Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd said at a press conference. Judd said the murder occurred after Crystal Kenney suggested to her husband that he turn off Monday’s NFL game between the San Francisco 49ers and the Indianapolis Colts. A record-setting Christmas storm battering Southern California brought rushing floods that have already killed at least three people. Water and debris, along with mudslides, have led to evacuation orders and water rescues as the deluge slams regions still recovering from wildfires earlier this year. The Christmas rain storm expected to washout California over the next few days is already rearing it’s ugly head — as a debris flow ripped through the mountain town of Wrightwood in San Bernardino County early Wednesday. The atmospheric river turned the area into a danger zone overnight, forcing evacuations and shutting down Highway 2, a dramatic snapshot of a Christmas-week storm now battering California from peaks to pavement. A pair of doofus thieves went through all the trouble of swiping an ATM by tying it to the back of a stolen SUV and ripping it out of a Texas 7-Eleven on Christmas Eve — only to fail to get any cash.
