Federal immigration agents chasing a suspect who ran off after being involved in a car crash near Chicago were targeted by protesters who pelted them with snowballs. The suspected gunman in the shooting of Jets cornerback Kris Boyd was charged with attempted murder Tuesday, cops said. Frederick Green, 20, was picked up in Buffalo Monday after cops tracked his vehicle, a gray Mercedes that is registered to his girlfriend, law enforcement sources said. Green also faces charges of assault and criminal possession of a weapon in the pre-dawn Nov. 16 violence that left 29-year-old Boyd shot in the stomach outside Asian fusion restaurant Sei Less on West 38th Street near Seventh Avenue, cops said. Dashcam video shows Kansas police deploying a wild “grappler” device to snag a stolen truck during a high-speed chase in Prairie Village. Officers fired the tool from a patrol car, tangling the truck’s tire and bringing the pursuit to a clean stop. The suspect was arrested without injuries.
