A record-setting Christmas storm battering Southern California brought rushing floods that have already killed at least three people. Water and debris, along with mudslides, have led to evacuation orders and water rescues as the deluge slams regions still recovering from wildfires earlier this year. Three people have been killed, according to the Los Angeles Times. Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass declared an emergency as of Wednesday, including flash flood warnings and evacuation orders. The Christmas rain storm expected to washout California over the next few days is already rearing it’s ugly head — as a debris flow ripped through the mountain town of Wrightwood in San Bernardino County early Wednesday. A pair of doofus thieves went through all the trouble of swiping an ATM by tying it to the back of a stolen SUV and ripping it out of a Texas 7-Eleven on Christmas Eve — only to fail to get any cash.
