French PM François #Bayrouâs daughter, HĂ©lĂšne #Perlant, became the latest person to speak out about suffering abuse at the Notre-Dame de #BĂ©tharram school in southwestern #France, when she was 14.
Perlant, who is now 53 and uses her motherâs name, said that her father did not know about the incident.
Multiple accusations of sexual and physical abuse at the Notre-Dame de BĂ©tharram boarding school have cast a shadow over Bayrouâs premiership. The PM has been accused of knowing about some of the allegations as early as the 1990s, when he was education minister and a local official, claims he has denied.
