Submit Your Work – Whatfinger Community
The WhatFinger Community publishes original work from Whatfinger readers. This is separate from the main aggregator and Dedicated Issues. Selected pieces appear under your byline. If editors enjoy your work and think readers will want to see, we will post your link on our homepage at whatfinger.com as well.
We do not pay for submissions. Editorial content cannot be used as a disguised advertisement.
What We Accept
- Original material only. If it has been published elsewhere (including your site, X, or Facebook), we will not consider it.
- Conservative commentary, analysis, culture, history, policy, and related topics that fit the Whatfinger audience.
- Preferred length: 600–1,200 words. 400–600 is fine for timely topics. Longer at editor discretion.
- Clear writing. Specifics over generalities. Facts with sources where relevant.
How to Submit
- Use the form below or email directly to whatfinger@proton.me.
- Put COMMUNITY SUBMISSION in the subject line if emailing.
- Include: title, your name, your email, a brief 1–2 sentence summary, and the full manuscript (paste into the form or attach as .docx or plain text).
- Optional: short bio (2–3 sentences) and any relevant links.
- Graphics: attach as .jpg or .png if you have original charts or images. No copyrighted material without permission.
We will publish your work with one active link only. All other links will not be working, just text that readers can copy and paste to view if we post them.
What Increases Your Chances
- Read recent Whatfinger coverage so the voice fits.
- Lead with a clear point. Avoid lectures.
- Hyperlink key sources in the manuscript where possible.
- No calls to violence, illegal activity, or pure venting without analysis.
We read every submission. We do not guarantee publication or a response on every piece. Accepted work appears on community.dedicatedissues.com under your byline.
